Packing familiar things for a stay

A familiar blanket, their usual food and a few clear notes can make a stay easier to plan. Here’s what to gather before you talk with us.

Start with their everyday rhythm

Tell us when they usually eat, where they like to rest and how they prefer to be greeted. If a familiar bed or toy helps them settle, ask us what to bring along. A few ordinary details help us get to know the companion you know best.

Keep food notes close

Write down food names, portions and mealtimes in plain language. If you have more than one pet, note each routine separately so we can talk through their individual needs. Include any recent changes you would like us to know about.

Make handovers easy

Share your preferred arrival and collection dates, who will bring your pet and the best way to reach you. We can talk through timing and travel details together. If plans change, let us know so we can help you update the handover notes.

Your next conversation

Tell us about your pet’s routine, share the dates you have in mind and ask us anything about preparing for a stay. We’ll talk through the details together.

A useful checklist
