Writing clear feeding instructions

Meal notes are easier to follow when they are simple and specific. Gather the food, portions and timing your pet knows, then share them with us.

Name the food and portion

Write down the food your pet eats and how much you usually serve. Include the way you measure it if that helps make the note clear. If your pets eat different foods or portions, give each companion a separate note.

Add their usual mealtimes

Tell us when your pet normally eats and where they feel comfortable having a meal. Mention any recent changes to their routine, and let us know what you would like to discuss before their stay.

Keep the notes together

Bring the current food instructions into your conversation with us. We can talk about the meal routine, what to pack and any questions you have, so you know which details to keep close for the handover.

Your next conversation

Tell us about your pet’s routine, share the dates you have in mind and ask us anything about preparing for a stay. We’ll talk through the details together.
